This project faces a critical water management issue faced by our clients. The topography has multiple varying elevations that exacerbates the water runoff and erosion problems, leading to increased anxiety for the homeowners regarding the stability of their home.
To combat these drainage challenges, we have designed a solution incorporating natural boulder steps to help with the varying elevations, yet still appear they belong in the woodsy environment.. These stunning steps are more than just an attractive pathway; around them, we strategically placed two swales that efficiently manage water flow, redirecting it away from the house.
Additionally, we have constructed a small retaining wall using natural boulders, providing both support for the steep grade change and a visually appealing structure that enhances the natural beauty of the landscape. Every plant in this project has been deliberately selected, ensuring functionality in controlling erosion and water runoff and harmony with the surrounding ecosystem. We are genuinely eager to showcase the finished product, which promises to resolve the concerns of water management and enrich the overall landscape, create a serene, sustainable environment that our clients can enjoy for years.
